To find the mean of a set of data, simply add up you numbers and divide by the number of numbers you have. The mean is just like finding the average of a set of data.

To find the mode of a set of data, just find the number or numbers that occurs the most.

To find the median of a set of data, simply order the numbers from least to greatest and find the number that falls in the middle.

To find the range of a set of data, simply order the numbers from least to greatest and then subtract the smallest number from the largest number.

A stem-and-leaf plot is a way of displaying a set of data. The stems are the tens place digit and the leaves are the ones place digits.
